Solid Off white sofa from Crate amp BarrelLee Industr

250 USD

Nice LEE brand slipcovered sofa for sale. The sofa is off-white cotton twill. Bought at Crate & Barrel years ago but it is in great shape with lots of life left in it. Very comfortable. Only adults used this. Tightback, which means there are no cushions at the back so it looks neater and holds it's shape better. Shabby chic, west elm, pottery barn. This is an excellent sofa. Much better quality and more comfortable than what you could get new for $250 or even more. For $250, it's a great sofa for someone who cares about quality, comfort, and no crazy floral or paisley patterns.

The slipcover is tight and hard to get back on after you wash it, but it is possible. I did it quite often. I did not dry the slipcover in a dryer, only washed at a commercial washer in cold water and then laid out to dry or stretched back onto frame while it was damp. Not sure really whether dry or damp helped in getting this slipcover back on...I tend to think dry was better. The bottom cushions and throw pillows (2) are zippered. I will throw in a little gold lumbar throw pillow if you like it.

This was my sofa and I didn't have the man or the black-haired dog. I changed out pillows all the time and moved a lot so it was great with all the changes. The smaller size helped with that too. The main reason I'm selling this is because it mostly just sits there looking pretty in the "man cave" and my dog is black, so a white sofa has been a constant source of frustration. Plus the man wants a futon so a guest could sleep in that room (although we rarely ever have that request or need). I guess a black leather futon is in the future.

FAQ:

I live in McKinney near Custer and Stacy Rd.
I will hold until you get your next paycheck.
I will help you load it.
I won't trade it for anything (but cash).
Non-smoking, but I do have a dog that was not allowed on furniture but has black hair.
It does need to have the slipcover washed again right now but it's always best to do this after it is moved, so I recommend the buyer do this after it's in your home.
